Explore the flavours of the Caribbean over fire.

A hands-on day exploring the vibrant and varied food traditions of the Caribbean, where cooking over fire brings together bold spices, smoky flavours and wonderful ingredients.

We'll take inspiration from different islands, exploring marinades, spice blends and cooking techniques as we prepare a colourful spread of dishes. Expect richly seasoned meats, vegetables, plantain, vibrant sauces and plenty of flavour, with a mix of grilling, roasting and slower cooking over wood and charcoal.

Along the way, we'll look at how different ingredients and techniques work together, building your confidence to experiment with Caribbean-inspired flavours in your own fire cooking.

We'll finish the day sitting down together to enjoy a generous feast of everything we've cooked.

Practical information

Classes last approximately six hours, with all food, ingredients and equipment provided.
