The Fire Light Sessions are about gathering. Tables set outdoors, seasonal feasts cooked over live fire, food passed from hand to hand and conversations that stretch long into the evening. About the simple pleasure of eating well, together, in beautiful places.
Each event is rooted in the landscape, celebrating the best local and seasonal ingredients, from field, farm and forest to fire. Everything is cooked over sustainably produced British wood and charcoal, because we believe the quality of the fire matters just as much as the quality of the food. Good fuel makes good cooking possible.
These are slow, generous, convivial feasts. The fires are tended throughout the evening, shaping the food, the atmosphere and the pace of the gathering. A chance to slow down, share something wonderful and perhaps leave with a few new friends.
SUMMER 2026 | BELMONT ESTATE
Our first Fire Light Sessions at Watercress Farm on the beautiful Belmont Estate in Somerset were everything we'd hoped for. An evening of wonderful food, fire and conversation, with guests gathering around long tables as the sun slipped behind the hills.
The menu celebrated the very best of the local landscape, with ingredients from nearby farms and growers cooked over Belmont's own charcoal, made from sustainably managed woodland on the estate.
House of Charcoal kept the fires burning, with BSTRD. kamados and OFYR cooking stations providing the perfect stage for the feast.
Filmmaker Matt Austin captured the spirit of the evening beautifully for our partners at YETI. The film says more about what we're trying to create with The Fire Light Sessions than words ever could.
