Fire. Food. Landscape. Long tables under open sky.
Our first Firelight Session was everything we had hoped it would be, and Matt Austin beautifully captured the spirit of the evening on film for our partners at YETI.
Guests gathered at Watercress Farm on the stunning Belmont Estate for an unforgettable evening of food, fire and conversation. As the sun settled over the Somerset hills, the team brought together an exceptional menu celebrating the very best local produce, all cooked over Belmont Estate's own charcoal, made from coppiced ash and mixed hardwoods harvested right on the estate.
House of Charcoal was proud to keep the fires burning throughout the evening, with BSTRD. kamados and OFYR cooking stations providing the perfect stage for live-fire cooking.
Together, the fire, the food and the setting created exactly what The Firelight Sessions is all about—bringing people together around something wonderfully simple.
A heartfelt thank you to House of Charcoal, Belmont Estate, YETI, Port O' Bristol, Five Acre Farm, Homewood Farm, BSTRD., OFYR and everyone who helped make the evening so special.
We'll be returning to the fire in 2027, with more Firelight Sessions to come. Keep an eye on this page for further details.
About Fire Light Sessions
The menu celebrates the best of the local landscape, featuring estate-reared & wild meats, seasonal fruit and vegetables from nearby growers, wild flavours and local cheeses. Four generous courses are served to share, passed hand to hand along long communal tables beneath the open sky.

An accompanying bar showcases carefully chosen wines from Port O'Bristol Wines, transported from Portugal under sail and landed in Bristol's historic harbour, alongside beer from Lost & Grounded, local cider and non- alcoholic drinks.
As daylight fades, conversation stretches long into dusk and the pace of the evening follows the rhythm of the fire itself.
With only a limited number of places available, The Fire Light Sessions are designed to be intimate, immersive and deeply connected to place.
This is not a restaurant service transported outdoors. It is a truly memorable feast generous, joyful and rooted in the landscape around it.
